In 2016, the WVDNR brought 24 elk from a herd in Kentucky’s Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Center and released the animals into Logan County’s Tomblin Wildlife Management Area.

Katrina Pardee (BS, Exercise Physiology, ’19), a 1,000-point scorer was a favorite of coaches and fans alike. And since earning her degree, she’s played for teams in Spain, Ireland, Bolivia, Brazil, Slovenia, Hungary, Russia, Turkey and back to Russia.

Trevor Hinkle is a WVU law student who is also a veteran of the 130th Airlift Wing, having served in Kuwait. He uses what he's learned and what he's learning to help other vets in the Veterans Advocacy Clinic.
